    Default Good deck cleaning chemical?

Just getting started. I cleaned a buddies deck yesterday with some home depot stuff. Not recommended probably but was easy to get around here. That being said, my buddy's deck has a lot of mold/mildew and although the dirst washed away, couldn't get it as clean as i would like. I don't want this to happen when I am doing this for $$. My machine is a 3800 psi 4 GPM. I sprayed the cleaner on with m5 x-jet and brushed it in, waited for 15 minutes and then cleaned. Any help for a noobie would be great.
    Thanks

erase everything you just taught yourself and start over

Buy some sodium percarbonate and oxalic acid and try again

apply the sodium percarb or in a pinch sodium hydroxide allow it to dwell and rinse off with low pressure and the apply oxalic to brighten and neutralize, mixtures vary depending on washers and ds injector settings
