Hot Box vs Hot Water PW

What is the difference, advantage/disadvantage, pros/cons, ect. of these two setups?

Obviously I know the hotbox is cheaper if I already have cold water pw. But what if I need a whole new setup? I already have a trailer.

I have never used a hot box, Russ has used them with cold washers. Maybe he wilkl chime in, not sure theres a real difference in the way they clean.

Theres no big difference. I started out that way. Much cheaper than a skid. Plus depending on what you are putting on a trailer it may be better suited space wise. If you go over 5.5 gpm it may be different though. My hot box was only that.

They work as good as a skid, I just like the foot print of the skid better.

The cold water washer, seperate battery, seperate fuel cells ect take up alot of room.

No more hot boxes at all, all skids, much more efficient

Skids take up much less room.
