Chris, I gotta plug this little hole-in-the wall restaurant I found about 10 years ago along the highway that runs between St Pete & Clearwater. It's called Il Lido. I was in the area on business and staying in a condo directly across from the restaurant. My colleague and I decided to slip over there for dinner one night. It literally looks like a little white falling downs shack, but it was 4-star quality Italian, complete with a classical guitarist. Kind of pricey for a shack. My favorite restaurant of all time. So if you're in that neck of the woods, see if it's still around.
