    Ive tried Jims method but it doesnt work for me. This method has worked the best so far.
    Fold up a piece of cardboard and insert it into the hole on the brush then thread the pole onto it and tighten till you cant anymore and it should fix the problem

    I use a truck brush or a white scrub pad wrapped around a sponge and stick it in a unger fixi clamp.

    Wrap a strip or two of electrical tape around the pole threads before you screw it onto the brush. Ours hold fine that way. Same style brush from Menards.
