Ugliest Color of Stain?

ANY solid color that hides the wood grain.

With a few exceptions, I'll second that opinion. By far, the worst colored stain is a solid, "picnic table" or "fire engine" bright red. Never have taken a picture, as we refuse to service them, and I don't want to break my camera.
