Attached is the Asphalt Roofing Manufacturers Association (ARMA) technical bulletin recommendations for cleaning asphalt shingles.
We carry a laminated copy to show homeowners and property managers, should they have any questions about using sodium hypochlorite for roof cleaning.
You'll need the Adobe Acrobat reader if you don't already have it installed on your computer.
Enjoy! :Smiley-2097:

No problem, Carlos.
It doesn't really change, but most roof cleaning companies use different variations of the 'a.r.m.a. method' by adjusting the roof cleaning mix to their own liking.

So this doc. would be considered the 'standard' if you will in the roof cleaning department?

More or less.....A 'guideline' or 'baseline' is probably more appropriate, in my opinion.

I would recommend making it a 'Sticky' as many people tend to inquire about it and it would stay at the top of the page for easy reference.

Just wondering since we are getting demographics from our members maybe we should inlclude this in the membership packet for just the roof cleaners that become members?
Transition Team...thoughts?

We keep a "credibility book" in the truck; its got the ARMA guidlines with the relevant area highlighted, testimonials page, and a bunch of before and afters. Its a very good thing to have if someone stops you in a parking lot or something and asks you questions. Since they probably wont go to your website, its good to have that stuff on hand.
