I would like to ask all KEC to help figure out a day and time to have a live chat, you know shoot the crap to business ideas and suggestion to Q/A. I think this would be a helpful way to get to know each other and help improve the industry we are in. I think since we are mostly off during the day that would be the best time. Now what time in the day? Dont forget we are the night owls ,so mid to late afternoon would probably be good? Lets all work together on this and make it something good.

Ok so far we got Saturday evenings. Lets get a time agreed on as well and the place part should be no problem. I will run it by Ken that Saturdays are KEC chat night. I think this site would be just as good as any, I am sure Ken will help to spark this off as well. Now for me in this neck of the woods my customers like for me to come in on Saturday nights just as good as any other night since Sundays are like the slow nights. I think a good time would be like 5ish or so?

Seriously, makes no difference to me- I don't do KEC but the fact is that you saw a dedicated, scheduled KEC chat and then tried to hijack it and take it somewhere else. Anthony had already set up a regular Sat chat before you saw that room. It might be more beneficial for you to participate in the one that is getting some steam going instead of trying to derail it at the station.

And thad what do you mean by that. I am good people with good intentions, i show you your own words. Just a few dont like the way i do things oh well.But a majority acually agree with my theories. Now if you dont like what i am about,which is family and caring for others you dont have to comment at all. I have never had anything against you. Never done anything against you so why so much anger against me. My feeling is the wrong information from the wrong people. Doug yes i didnt know how to conduct myself with on line it is different.You have to read carefully to interpet what the person is saying.It can sound negative really quick if you read it wrong.Now doug the past is the past i am sorry for the speed bumps but i understand how it works now.So if possible lets keep the past in the past and start this new day new. I am 1st generation in the United States.My family came to the states in 1974. And as with most imagrant families i was sent back to Yugoslavia until i was around five years old so my parents can get a good start here.The part of Yugoslavia i am from is Belgrade the language i speek ia Serbian and the reason i did refrain to my native language is because what you all called me at the GP..When i returned i didnt know english at all had to learn.Now father father as a imagrant started a very successful co. in northern va.Some of the old timers that was around in the 80's and on in northern va. would probably know him.The co. name was Walt and Sons Inc.Was a painting co. for new homes like Calvert homes and Pulte homes,ect.Had around dozen formen and painters under them.Also did PWing,brick to be exact.So i am second generation in the pwing side.Some may remember in the 80's when that house was built in 24hrs for a charity/raffle i was there with dad to help.Now getting to my spelling and education.I ended up quiting school after 8th grade.Was working in summer with dad as prep and the one who kept the spray rigs full and cleaning tools from the age of seven even learn ladders then.When i quit school i went working with dad alot.but being a teenager i would of rather roamed the streets of northern va.for two legged deer if you know what i mean.around the age of 16 i went a few times in the summer learrning the old fassion way exhaust hood cleaning.well to speed up time ended up in Sc and i was at buddies house and this guy and girl swung by.I was cooking in the kitchen looked and seen this hot chick but had a man.She kept checking me out next thing you know the guy leaves her there and never returns.Well you know what happens we hook up and 14 years later and 5 children and 1 on the way we are still together.Started this business in 1997 have donenearly every trade known to man before the business from milking cows to auto mechanic which i have a degree for,went to tech school fot that.That is why i am such a jack.

Alexy, I'm sorry you feel that way and I understand your reaction. This thread is about the KEC chat room organized by Marko for this forum. Linking other chat rooms not only shows poor ettiquette, it is bordering on spam.

This has nothing to do with the industry, comraderie, power struggles or other. This is the policy we have. If a link is constructive and adds information to a post or supports a statement, it is allowed. Anything outside of that constitutes spam and is reviewed and may be deleted. This includes threads titled "roof cleaning anywhereville, USA" with links to a video or a website. The UAMCC wil be spending thousands of dollars on website design and SEO work. It will be unfair to future members to not start a correct precedence and nip this activity in the bud.

I think this whole thing has spun out of proportion to what was done here. If UAMCC want to limit outside chats fine , but I think a clear policy that was known in advance would have made this a non issue. I had no idea that the chats would compete wasn't one on thursday and one sat night?

Yes it seems like the misunderstanding issue happened, nothing was in stone and then a few wanted Thursday and after carefull thinking Thursday it was.And look back ANthony accually wanted the Saturday because he felt it was better. Look back it would all be posted. Next thing you know Anthony on my thread starts to say chat will be at the other chat room,which is a nice place, but i felt i started this thread here and felt the chat should be here, then the next thing you know here comes a day and to try to bump into mine.The same issues as before.See something that a "certain " orgaization isnt getting recognision for "boom" turn it to a war and the attemp of ripping apart of people. I dont think its a certain organization trying to cause trouble or anything. Some people got offended that a certain chat place was setup and then you mentioned that you will start another chat because you visited it and wanted to make one of your own here. Their thoughts were why would you not just go there if it was a good chat site that was already setup. Another thing is your time. It is convenient for you to have it on a weekday and at time but it may not be for most. When you first brought it out you wanted to do 5 which in my opinion was a horrible time for both east and west coast. You pm me and you asked for my opinion and I mentioned weekend was better but you insisted on weekday but changed to 7. Even then it is very hard for alot of guys to attend. At 7 your time is 4 at mine. There is still daylight and around this time of year I utilize every daylight hour possible to do work. So in short I dont think certain organizations are trying to take away your thunder... but the time and date that was picked will not work for most so they will just attend the chat that will work for them which is Sat night.

There is too much conspiracy theories going on.

Marko - When you first joined this BBS I made it very clear to you that you are welcomed here. You also know that I did tell you that I am friends with some of the same people that you feel are out to get you ~ fair enough!

You say folks have given up on you ~ sorry thats not the case brother. You go as far as saying that Ken has even gave up on you.....again..not the case at all. Just so you know, Ken took alot of "heat" if you will over the chat issue from many fronts. He gave you the benefit of the doubt and gave you a chance and you did not even show up for the chat. Congrats on the birth of your daughter and you say that was the reason for not showing up ~ fair enough!

Here is your major blunder ~ in your post above you make a pretty stearn comment about Russ....that is not playing out on this BBS. Russ is a personal colleague of mine and represents more about the washing industry then you will ever know. I personally take exception to your comments about him.

Heres your choice and there is no compromise:

1. Please edit you post about Russ;

or

2. Be banned for a year.

Simple as that.

This is a BBS for learning and contribution to the UAMCC but more importantly the washing industry.

If folks come over here carrying a grudge or issue from another BBS.....I suggest you keep whatever is bothering you close to the vest because it will not be played out on this BBS....period.

This is not about policing or banning....this is about maintaining a level of professionalism that is expected from each and every one of our members. Ken is not a big fan of "policing" or "banning" BUT when people throw out unfounded accusations about him or any member of the TT thats is when I take notice and will get involved.

Same thing with the comment above about Russ or any member of the UAMCC BBS. We are not going to give 2nd and 3rd chances when it comes to being professional.

Ken has disagreed with me on my approach and I am sure he disagrees with some of the posturing above. Sorry fella but I am not going to just sit around and allow folks to insinuate or step over the line regarding your administrator duties.

Its ok Carlos, he and I hit it off exactly on the wrong foot since I believe he was a member of PWI ABOUT 2 HOURS before he was banned......fastest in history!

All I can say is that Mr Cleanhoods has had a problem on EVERY board he goes too, so I dont know where he has been but if I were him I would go back there, IF he has been in business so long maybe he would be best suited to continue as he was, he just does not seem to grasp this world like we do.

I am sorry for making him feel unwelcome but as most everyone knows I am a fair guy until you cross me so I guess the comments about not respecting my position on PWI DIDNT SET REAL WELL ! Since I take what I do there so seriously and I feel everyone knows that. Also I am the one who first reported the intentional spamming on TGS - WHERE I am a moderator and was doing the job I was asked to do there as well.

No,no.Oh i see why you said that lol, thanks florin i edited that.Just had a girl.I have now 4 boys 2 girls now.We are done having kids now i can get my name and blood out grow them out,lol.Then me and momma are going to give them the house keys and get us an RV and travel the country,lol.Live free for the little bit of life we will have left.
