Roger, does the cold water washer have to be speacial rated or can any machine handle the higher heat in a restaurant kitchen water supply?

Got some water from a customers outside facet last week 106 degrees

They make a hi temp kit that I believe mostly just the packing being rated at a higher temp. But I run hot water through my cat pumps all the time with no ill effects

So it looks like I can spend maybe 500 on a cold washer run hot throught and see if its going to be worth spending the money for a industrial set up if business increases?

maybe so, I would get a cat pump if you can, I think it will be your best bet for longevity. If not check into getting a hi temp kit for the pump, because there is a good chance of your seals to start leaking.
